Call it confidence. Call it image. Call it self-worth. We all have someone in our life that struggles with low self-esteem.
My friend John from the mental health non-profit, Heart Support joined me to teach us how we can communicate better with those around us who are struggling to feel like they’ve got what it takes. He breaks down a simple framework for identifying why someone is struggling, along with tactical steps and a live role-play of the hope THEY need to hear, in order to find healing.
Here is a SNEAK PEEK of what to expect:
Step 1: Listen – What makes most people suck at listening
Step 2: Learn – 3 questions to identify the real source of the low self-esteem, or the “core wound”
Step 3: Relate: How can you truly empathisize with the person struggling?
Step 4: Motivate – Make them believe what you believe about them.
I hope you get as much out of this convo that I did- my favorite one to date. Listen in 🙂
